Manta returns with super powers conferred on him by the trident of the imprisoned Kordax. Orm returns as the prodigal son and reunites with his family - he was probably too good -looking to be a villain for long. Manta planned to use the mineral orichalcum to create havoc on earth's climate and with that, lure Aquaman to him so that he can exact revenge on Aquaman for kiling his father. The plot is admittedly thin, the fighting scenes are not great but good enough. The undersea cinematography (CGI) is wonderful, and you will love Topo the octopus. Wished he had more screen time. The grating part is having the subtitles stating Aquaman, the Atlantean cursing in Maori. Otherwise, worth the watch.
Got this for Jason mamoa. After seeing the amber heard and johnny Depp trail nothing could get me to support anything shes in. She was only in it for like 5 minutes and even that felt like to long. She is a vial women who should be treated with complete disdain. But I like Jason mamoa and when i heard her time was gonna be serverly cut short due to her actions and hollywood has pretty much shunned her. I gave it a shot for the movie its self. The movie is great and im very happy they focused on the brothers over her because that made things way better to me. Also hearing how Jason had to be drunk through the whole thing. Well lets just say after tgat trial and learning what she put Depp through I would have to be drunk to work with such an evil person to.
